Brick training is essential in triathlon training! RTC every year has a signature summer series, the Tuesday Twilight Duathlons, that emphasizes just that. It is a 2 mile run followed by an 8 mile bike ride followed by a 2 mile run. Many RTC members participate in this fun event and try to PR each time they come out. Beyond that there are always RTC members that do runs off the bike on Saturday Rides and Monday Manic Rides, and there are members who like to do bricks on Sunday and post their workouts for all to join.
